Friends of the Baxter County Library 2025 Scholarship Applications Now Open

MOUNTAIN HOME, AR - The Friends of the Baxter County Library are now accepting applications for the 2025 scholarship program! This annual scholarship aims to support and encourage higher education among Baxter County residents.

Each year, the number of scholarships awarded and their monetary values vary, depending on the success of fundraising efforts such as donations, book sales, silent auctions, and other initiatives organized by the Friends of the Library. In 2024, the Friends of the Baxter County Library awarded scholarships as follows: $1,500 for first place, $1,000 for second place, and two $750 awards for third place.

To apply, students must complete the scholarship application and write an essay on a specified topic. Applications must be received by April 1, 2025, at the following address:
